AFRICAN SAFARI - ITINERARY
Day1: Arrival Nairobi City - Fairmont Hotel or similar (Bed & Breakfast)
Day Two:
In the morning, meet your guide for the drive to Amboseli National Park.
Amboseli National Park - Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar (Breakfast, Lunch &
Dinner)
Following lunch, you'll spend the afternoon viewing some of this diversity,
notably the park's elephants, which are numerous, and giraffes, and
predators including lions and cheetahs.
Day Three: Amboseli National Park - Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar (Breakfast, Lunch &
Dinner): Day Three features morning and afternoon game drives over the
park's dusty roads.You can avoid the mid-day heat in the lodge's pool, at
the bar, or like the beasts of the savannah, with a nap in the shade.
Day Four: Aberdares National Park - Aberdare Country Club www.fairmont.com
the base hotel for The Ark (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner): After lunch you
will be transferred in Club vehicles to the Ark a tree lodge deep in the
heart of Aberdares National Park.
Resembling and named after Noah's Ark, The Ark comprises three decks from
which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb vantage points for game
viewing.
Game viewing at a tree hotel is different in that the animals come to you
instead of you going to them.
1930hrs - Dinner and overnight at The Ark
Day5: Lake Nakuru National Park - Flamingo Hill Tented Camp(Breakfast, Lunch
& Dinner): After breakfast we travel to Thompson Falls then down to the
floor of the Rift Valley and onto Lake Nakuru National Park. Spend the day
exploring the amazing bird life as well as rhino and leopard for which Lake
Nakuru is internationally known. The park is also home to a large colony of
flamingo.
Day6&7: Maasai Mara Game Reserve - Siana Springs Intrepid Tented Camp
(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner):This remarkable day takes us to the land of the
Maasai. On morning and afternoon game drives the next day we view some of
Africa's largest prides of lion, herds of zebra, antelope, buffalo,
wildebeest, giraffe, cheetah and hyena.
Day Eight: Maasai Mara >Nairobi (Breakfast): An early morning game drive is
followed by a breakfast feast. Take your time to say Kwaheri to simba and
his friends. We leave when you're ready. In the evening we chauffeur you to
the airport and bid you bon voyage as you catch your flight home.
